The Greene King pub company has announced details of its 2010 graduate scheme which will see 50 training places filled.
As part of the programme, individuals who are keen to develop their skills as house managers will spend three years gearing up to take over established venues.
These include work opportunities at the business's brands such as Hungry Horse, Loch Fyne, Hardy's House and Old English Inns.
The organisation's head of human resources Jerry Robinson stated: "We feel we have something dynamic and motivating to offer those who are prepared to take on the challenge of running their own establishment for one of the country's leading pub, hotel and restaurant retailers."
Last month, the company invited local producers to participate in the Real Food and Beer Festival at Green King as part of the 25th Bury St Edmunds Festival.
News of the training scheme may interest restaurant operators that are keen to improve the efficiency of their staff.
