The Restaurant Show swings into action

The Restaurant Show kicks-off in London today, with Mystery Dining in attendance too – why not pop along and say hello at stand J28.
Running from October 10th to October 12th at Earls Court 2, The Restaurant Show 2011 is a feast for the eyes, ears, and taste buds.
The annual trade show, aimed exclusively at the UK's restaurant scene, features an array of new products, launches, features and talks from key industry figures.
Some 300 exhibitors will be on-hand this year, offering a host of new products and innovations for restaurants.
About 11,000 industry professionals will be at the show, experiencing new and interesting ingredients and the latest cutting-edge products.
After a tour of the stands, why not head to one of the show's 12 live events?
These include:
The Centre Stage – a showcase of the skills of 20 of the world's top chefs – including Alyn Williams of Alyn Williams at the Westbury and Bruno Loubet of Bistrot Bruno Loubet.
Through a schedule of workshops, the chefs will showcase their skills, part with some of their prized tips and share recipes with the audience.
Business Bootcamp – visit this event to pick up some best practice tips from key industry figures and business leaders.
Representatives from leading organisations such as Google, the British Hospitality Association and Action Against Hunger will be in attendance.
National Chef of the Year – one of the most respected and sought-after culinary titles will be announced at this year's show.
The live final of the 39-year-old competition will be held on Tuesday, October 11th 2011.
"Following last year's successful event, almost 90 per cent of visitors felt that not only is The Restaurant Show a key and important event for their businesses, but the show is also an excellent place to discover the latest products and services in the industry," said show director Rachel Quigley.

The show runs from October 10th to 12th 2011 at Earls Court 2, London. Opening hours are Monday 10:00 – 17:00, Tuesday 10:00 – 19:00 and Wednesday 10:00 – 17:00.
