First UK restaurant opened by Bruno Barbieri in London

Londoners are now able to enjoy modern Italian food cooked by the Michelin starred chef, Bruno Barbieri in the capital.

Cotidie is the first restaurant that the world renowned Italian chef has opened in the UK and is situated on Marylebone High Street.

The dishes to be served up in the restaurant which can seat 75 people at any one time will change daily and feature Italian classics given a modern twist.

Seasonal Italian produce will be complemented with meat, seafood and fish sustainably sourced from the UK and all of the pasta will be made fresh on-site.

Barbieri said: "With such a wealth of talent in London at the moment, it is an exciting time to be opening a restaurant."

The restaurant takes its name from the Latin word for everyday, which reflects the classic style of the dishes, but the Italian MasterChef star adds his own flair to them.

Barbieri grew up in the house of his grandmother in the hills of Bologna and spent his days preparing fresh lasagne, bread and jam for himself and his sister.
